GIG announces the promotion of James O’Caiside to General Manager for New Zealand. James has been an integral part of our organisation, serving as the Christchurch General Manager for the past nine months. With over fifteen years of experience spanning multiple fields, including direct marketing, real estate, public speaking, television, investments, project management, sales, management, and business development, James brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
As General Manager for New Zealand, James will oversee all operations nationwide and support and drive our sales teams. James’ vision, dedication, and leadership will continue to steer the country’s success. In his new role, he aims to expand Gig New Zealand to 200 sales agents across Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington, Auckland, and regional territories. In addition, James has set his sights on the international target of Gig’s vision of having 2000 sales agents worldwide, with New Zealand being at least 10% of the global total of this goal.
Following this change, James Wheable, our Chief Sales Officer, will continue to provide strategic direction and lead New Zealand, including the talented James O’Caiside. James Wheable and our Dunedin Team Leader, Andrew Robinson, played crucial roles in spearheading our expansion into New Zealand, culminating in our growth and success. We express our deepest gratitude and recognise their outstanding contributions and endeavours. Furthermore, James Wheable will continue collaborating and working with our New Zealand clients and sales partners, guiding us towards more significant accomplishments.
We are excited about this new chapter for James and the GIG New Zealand teams. We look forward to continuing our commitment to excellence, growth, and delivering exceptional service to our clients in New Zealand.
